I am a traveler. I am a writer. I am a creative. I am currently a graduate student at The University of Brighton focusing on Information Securities. I am a constantly evolving woman.

So let’s get to it….

I’ve always had a strong interest in writing; I’ve excelled in it my entire life. The fun thing about writing is that it allows you to be expressive in so many different forms – narratives, biographies, poems, blogs and so on… Writing allows you to unapologetically be you. If you know me personally, you know how much being me and only me weighs in importance to me.

I am FOREVER hearing “Where are you going next?” “Do you ever sit down?” “You got monaaay!”

For starters, I am broke (but rich in character LOL), but I want to show everyone that traveling both domestically and internationally is possible and can, more often than people think, be easy and affordable. I want to not only share my travels with you, but how I was able to get there as well.

I have always taken trips with my family – Chicago, Kentucky, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, New York, San Francisco – just to name a few places, but I never realized the true benefits of what traveling can do for you mentally and emotionally.

In January of 2014, I took the opportunity to study abroad in Granada, Spain. It was by far one of the best experiences of my life and one of the, if not thee, highlight of my undergraduate experience. During this time I was able to travel and see so many cities I had only dreamed of! It taught me a new level of independence that I would have never been afforded at such an early age had I not jumped on this opportunity. As soon as I arrived to Piedmont Triad International Airport I was forced to step out of my comfort zone. This was my first time leaving the country and I was doing it all. by. myself.

During my time in Granada, I was able to travel to Nerja, Cádiz, Ibiza, Málaga, Gibraltar, Asilah, Chefchaouen, Tanger, Valencia, London, Paris, Berlin and Oranienburg (Thanks to proper budgeting and the support and assistance of my wonderful parents). Since 2014, I have travelled to Madrid, Aruba, San Diego, Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Miami, Havana, Mantanzas, Varadero, Cherokee, Asheville, Carolina Beach, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Switzerland, Amsterdam, Toulouse, Carcassonne and San Juan (PR) amongst other places big and small.

Through this site, I hope to not only shed light on myself and my passions, but to teach and inspire people of all ages and demographics to travel more and live freely and unapologetically in their truths.
